Book presentation: La invasión  by  Ignacio Solares

(Mexico/US: Alfaguara: Santillana, October 2005). With the participation of Antonio Navalón, GRUPO PRISA’s representative in Mexico; Victor Hugo Banda Rascón, Mexican writer; and Arturo Sarukhan, Mexico's new ambassador to the US. Introductory remarks by Dr. John Brademas, NYU President Emeritus and King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center founder.

Solares, an award-winning Mexican novelist and playwright, presents his book about the invasion and occupation of Mexico City by U.S. forces during the Mexican War (1846–47).
