CORTOCIRCUITO III SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
Thursday & Friday at 7:00 p.m.
Saturday at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 6:00 and 7:30 p.m.

The King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center is pleased to present the Third Edition of CortoCircuito, our Latin American Short Film Festival programmed and produced by Diana Vargas. CortoCircuito presents New York audiences with highly acclaimed and controversial Latin American short films produced in the last decade.  This year, a few selections from Spain have also been included. The festival seeks to entertain, educate and reveal new talents to its audience and honor those who have mastered the craft.

All films are English-subtitled. Over 50 titles will be presented, with films from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Cuba, Peru, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Spain, Uruguay and the U.S.  Download full program here or visit www.nyu.edu/kjc/cortocircuito 

CortoCircuito is made possible with the support of Capella, Cinema Tropical, Terra.com, Casa Comal (Guatemala), Loop Animation Film Festival (Colombia), Cinemad (Spain), Colombian Film Institute (Dirección de Cinematografía), Festival caro de Guatemala, Curta Cinema (International Short Film Festival of Rio de Janeiro), International School of Film of Cuba (EICTV), Universidad del Cine of Buenos Aires, Mexican Film Institute (Imcine-Conaculta), Empanadas del Parque,  D’Antigua, Ojo Grafico, and Divino Magazine among others.

The program is free and open to the public.

Reception on Thursday and closing party on Saturday following the screenings.
