Vicente Peydró fue uno de los compositores líricos valencianos más importantes de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Sus zarzuelas estuvieron entre las primeras que fueron llevadas al cinematógrafo español. No obstante, Peydró sintió también desde niño gran afición por la literatura, la pintura, el teatro y el cine, consagrando toda su vida a estas modalidades artísticas y destacando en cada una de ellas. En el presente artículo nos servimos de la figura de Vicente Peydró como ejemplo polifacético artístico para abordar el estudio de las artes escénicas de forma integral con el alumnado de segundo de bachillerato en la modalidad de Artes de un instituto público de Valencia. Se trata de que el alumnado de esta etapa educativa se acerque a las artes escénicas a través de su naturaleza interdisciplinar, mediante una metodología por proyectos y cooperativa que permita integrar distintas disciplinas como música, literatura, dibujo artístico, artes escénicas y cultura audiovisual. Así, el alumnado podrá mejorar la comprensión del fenómeno artístico, desarrollar la sensibilidad artística y el interés por la cultura, al tiempo que les ofrecemos una aproximación abierta y plural hacia las obras de arte, tal y como sucede en la realidad en cualquier manifestación artística.
Abstract:
Vicente Peydró was one of the most important Valencian lyric composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Their zarzuelas were among the first that were taken to the Spanish cinematographer. However, Peydró also felt since childhood a great love for literature, painting, theater and cinema, devoting all his life to these artistic modalities and standing out in each of them. In this article we use the figure of Vicente Peydró as a multi-faceted artistic example to address the study of the performing arts in an integral way with the second year baccalaureate classroom students in the Arts modality of a public institute in Valencia. It is about the students of this educational stage approaching the performing arts through their interdisciplinary nature, through a project and cooperative methodology that allows integrating different disciplines such as music, literature, artistic drawing, performing arts and audiovisual culture. Thus, students can improve their understanding of the artistic phenomenon, develop artistic sensitivity and interest in culture, while offering them an approach to open and plural works of art, just as happens in reality in any artistic manifestation.
